Gurbinder Singh Gill

Mr. Gurbinder Singh Gill graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of London. He is a partner at Messrs Manjit Singh Sachdev, Mohammad Radzi & Partners. In the firm, he serves as the head of chambers for their southern regional main office in Johor Bahru, Johor and their satellite office in Mount Austin, Johor. His areas of practice encompass civil & commercial disputes, corporate fraud, investigation & asset recovery, construction & arbitration, intellectual property, employment & industrial relations, criminal defense, real estate transactions and banking & finance. Additionally, he holds the position of an adjunct professor with Brickfields Asia College (BAC) and has led various advocacy and apprenticeship programs.
Mr. Gill has earned a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), a Professional Diploma in International Arbitration (PDIA), a Foundation in Investment by the CFA Institute, a certificate in Competition Compliance Programme with the Malaysian Competition Commission (MyCC) and a certification in Islamic Finance & Banking from the Islamic Research & Training Institute (IRTI). He is recognised as a trademark agent, a certified Mediator with the Bar Council, a pioneer member with the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR) and an affiliate with the Malaysian Institute of Arbitration (MIArb).
As the founder of Amicus Curiae (AC), Mr. Gill pioneered the webinar series, ‘The Rights To Be Heard’ featuring notable figures from the legal profession. He is an avid reader and writer, having published several articles and research papers. In his free time, he hosts self-help groups and conducts classes for candidates preparing for the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) examination.
