Dir Kheizwan Bin Ab Halim @ Kamaruddin is the Litigation Managing Partner of the Subang Branch. With over 25 years of experience, he holds an LL.B. (Hons), a Diploma in Shariah Law and Practice from IIUM, and an LL.M. in Banking Law. He is also a qualified Shariah lawyer, giving him a unique capability to handle both civil and Islamic legal matters.

Dir Kheizwan’s litigation practice spans civil, criminal, corporate banking and Islamic banking practice. He provides legal counsel to numerous financial institutions for corporate and retail banking recovery. He also specialises in general litigation, land disputes construction matters, shareholder disputes and defamatory actions.

He has also established himself in energy and electricity law and representing the Energy Commission and Tenaga Nasional Berhad in numerous cases.

He also provides legal counsel on matters related to human rights violations and was part of the prosecution team at the Permanent People’s Tribunal in London, during its session on State Crimes Allegedly Committed in Myanmar Against the Rohingya, Kachin, and Other Groups.

In addition, he served as a member of the legal team for the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza, where he conducted legal training and briefings for the Malaysian delegation and coordinated with international legal experts involved in the mission.
